In 2002, Dr. Elswet DragonFyre™ is finally married to the man of Her dreams; shingo/antares. They are making plans to open the Temple of DragonFyre™ as an actual, physical place within the next few years. Preparations are being made in the area of land acquisition and licensing with the proper officials in order to make this dream a reality; however, there is no definite date or set plan of action, as yet.

In 2003, their plans are more concrete, though still quite soupy. They will be handfasted in May of 2004, and until that time, they will not be moving forward with their other plans. Although legally married in December of 2002, the handfasting is what they both consider their "real wedding," and so therefore it takes precedence. In the meantime, shingo is receiving personal tutelage in the Old Ways from his High Priestess/Wife in preparation for the life they have chosen to share with one another.

Wish them well. They both deserve nothing but the best life has to offer.

I have decided to occasionally update this section for those of you who are interested. [I'm sure there are only one or two of you, so this is for you! LOL]

Our first land acquisition has been a fiasco. Sometimes, you just want it so badly that [yes, even I] you push forward even with all the bells going off. We did, and we learned a valuable lesson. It did not go well, suffice it to say. And it has ended badly. But the lesson was well worth the price. It will be a long time before I do something THAT stupid again. LOL So, we made a tactical decision to back up and punt. We had to let that awful place go back to the original owner. It just wasn't worth the heartache.

We're concentrating on the Coven, itself. A Covenstead will come, when the time is right. I accept and understand that now. In January of 2006, DFW™ legally became DFW, Inc. We are now a recognized church within the State of Tennessee, and our Federal 501(c)(3) is pending! [GO US!] I have two people I can trust with My life, My world, and My heart. One is My beautiful shingo [who now goes by geryn], and the other is My devoted Second. She is the right-hand [as in She has become My right-hand], Keystone Female I've searched for all these years. She's an amazing woman who exudes confidence and capability. While her Coven experience is lacking, you wouldn't know it to see her. She is awesome! We call her MaidenFaire™. Here is a photo of us this year before the DFW, Inc. MidSummer's Eve Coven Rite. We perfectly complement One another. Where I am lacking, she is gifted, and where she is inexperienced, I am not. I could not have found a better Second if I had conjured Her!

She and I are co-authoring the official Coven workbook for DFW, Inc.'s 101-303 level Coveners, for use when the Coven grows to maturity. Right now, we are a small, intimate group, and I couldn't be happier about that. I would MUCH rather a small group of trusted close friends, than a large group of wanna-be's and half-witted drug addicts. Oy Vey. [ggls] It is growing more and more difficult to maintain a drug-free membership, and that is something I DO insist upon!

Sylver MoonDragon & Thucydides no longer live with us. At first, this situation was quite an adjustment both financially and emotionally, as it came from out of left field. However, we've come to immensely enjoy the level of intimacy and privacy we experience now that we are alone together. Other than the sporatic times when SMD was conducting his occasional frantic dating junkets, we've never been alone together since we've been married! The change is so drastic; so awesomely luxurious that, while I can't say that I don't love and miss SMD terribly, I don't know that I would quickly accept a return of that situation.

We are in a new home [same place, new structure], and are adjusting to our new life, geryn and I. Things have begun moving forward with our personal business, as they should, and are progressing nicely. Savings are maturing, and other matters are coming into fruition. It's about time! This has been a perfectly lovely 4 years with My sweet geryn, and I look forward to the near future with a GREAT anticipation. However, I have not forgotten to live today for today.

It's not having what you want, it's wanting what you've got. Some song. Can't remember which one, but these are definitely words to live by.
