I've been to the places of magickal legend.
I remember the faces of dragons and gryphons.
I have but to dream, to return once again
To the realms of the stories told at bedtime.
Stories of dragons and wizards and witches...
Of elves and of faeries and of all things forbidden.
I've walked the streets of cities which fled.
I've sat at the banquets of rulers long dead.
I've seen the magickal sights of those realms.
I've worn warrior's armor; full plate, shield, and helm.
In those places of magick, in those places of awe,
I have found a family; parents, siblings, friends and all.
My beloved is now with Me and so he can see,
The wonders that come unto Me in My dreams.
Oh to show him, to take him and show him about
The realms; to help him see what magick's about.
So when you do dream children, the journal you keep.
For dreams are what your soul does when your body's asleep.
