What is Vampyrism?
There are three basic types of Vampyre. I will make an attempt to detail these types for you in this article.

The first and most common type is the psi-Vampyre: one who drinks of another's psychic/astral energy in order to charge themselves on that same level.

Regardless of the type, there are certain responsibilities One carries as Vampyre. The bond created between You and the one from whom You feed, is strong and binding. You therefore share a measure of responsibility where this one is concerned. Never take without giving something in return, even if it is merely the pleasure for having served You, instill that they have done well, served well. Positive reinforcement will work wonders.

Before Wwe begin this little trip, let Uus first target what is believed to be a Vvampyre. Forget the creature of the night, an immortal being, and that all Vvampyres are evil Wwhose only reason for existence is to drain puny Hhumans of Ttheir life giving blood, thereby killing the food source. Not Aall Vvampires are strictly night creatures. Indeed, Tthose Wwho are strong enough can go out into the sunlight. Not all Vvampyres are inherently evil. Like all living things, Tthey have Ttheir own free will to decide how Tthey will live their extended life. Generally speaking, most of Tthose Wwho are gifted with the beauty of Vampyrism follow the tendencies Tthey lived in life; Ssome are brought into the evil side of Vvampyrism by Tthose that turned Tthem. Tthose Wwho are born as a Vvampyre have the same free will that Hhumans have. Vvampyres are also, in this one's opinion, not immortal. Tthey do have extremely long life spans and can live for centuries which can make Tthem appear to be immortal.

Yyou may ask, "If this is true, why are there not Mmore around?" The answer is simple: Tthey are dead. Ttheir numbers have been thinned to keep unwanted attention from coming Ttheir way. Also, Mmany of Tthem are killed before Tthey can live to Ttheir old age.

"How can this be?" Yyou may ask. There are two main causes of Vvampyric death.

One: Vvampyre Hhunters, believe it or not, are always keeping an eye out for Tthem to keep Ttheir numbers down, because Tthey fear the Ccreatures due to not having the knowledge about what Tthey truly are; having been raised or schooled in the dogma of Ttheir religious sects. Granted, some Vvampyres, as Hhumans, do deserve to die for Ttheir evil ways, but not nearly Aall.

Two: Tthey die from loneliness. Wwe live Oour lives in search of the happiness of sharing it with Aanother. But now imagine living as long as a Vvampyre -a near Immortal- and not having Aany to spend it with, and seeing Yyour loved Oones and Ffriends die off Oone by Oone. Wouldn't Yyou be lonely too? Many Vvampyres will take Ttheir own lives or give it to a Hhunter to end it all and finally get the peacefulness of death; finally ending it all in search of peace.

Vvampyres do not need to drain a Hhuman completely to feed. If this was the case, Tthey would have no way to feed. Yes there are Tthose that do it due to evil tendencies much like a murderer will kill his victim; spite; excitement or just plain greed. Vvampyres only need a little bit of blood to survive.

Again, What is Vvampyrism? Vvampyrism is, in essence, the drinking of Oones' blood in order to obtain energy [sanguinary]. Yyou do not need to be a Vvampyre to do such though. Even more so, Yyou do not need to drink Oone's blood to do it. Yyou can do it with out drinking blood, but taking the psychic energies of Yyour food source, instead [psy or psi]. Let Uus go first to the blood part of Vvampyrism. Yyou do not need to bite the neck or anything else belonging to Yyour food source. There are blood letting devices, leaches, needles, razors and many other ways to obtain fresh, living blood. Drinking blood is the more classic way of practicing Vvampyrism, and taking it from the neck is the most classic and well known method. But as i said, it is not the only way to do such. There are records that different types of Vvampyres use different methods such as knives or even sharpened fingernails to draw out the life giving blood.

About psi-Vvampyres. If Yyou have a close enough connection to Ssomeone, or even if Yyou let Yyourself open up to the Oother, Yyou can transfer energies by drawing the energy of the food source through a mental/psychological/emotional/psychic connection rather than a physical one. Psi-Vvampyrism is a practice i have recently begun more actively, as it enables me to be closer to my One, to share that bond with Her, since real time physical touch isn't possible for Uus at this time.

Be careful though, practicing Vvampyrism isn't for Ssomeone Wwho isn't sure of what Tthey are doing. Yyou can hurt the Oone from which Yyou are feeding, if Yyou are not careful and it isn't consentual. Vvampyrism can be practiced without sexual situations as well; however, sex is often utilized in order to raise the level of endorphins and adrenalin in the food source and is the most common way of taking that step down the path of magickal Vvampyrism.

The dangers of Vvampyrism.

It is possible to hurt Ssomeone very badly if too much energy is taken from the food source. When practicing Vvampyrism, Yyou must be careful from Wwhom Yyou choose to feed or let feed from Yyou. If the Pperson doesn't know what Tthey are doing, Tthey can drain too much of Yyour energy from Yyou or Yyou from Tthem thereby weakening Tthem so much that Tthey become sick. If Yyou practice it as in the classic way of blood drinking, Yyou can kill Tthem if Yyou take to much of Ttheir blood or visa versa. If Yyou do take too much essence from Yyour food source, regardless of how Yyou do it, it is possible to take a part of Ttheir very soul into Yyou or Yyours into Tthem. i know this is possible for i have done it Mmyself with consent and urging of the One Wwhom i was feeding from.

Why would Aanyone want to do such things? Vvampyrism does have its own benefits. It is a way to help restore and replenish energy that Yyou have spent which isn't replenishing itself, for whatever reason. For myself it helps me; the giving and taking, restoring energy that i do not always have, due to insomnia. Regardless of which way i am going, i am able to sleep afterwards and feel better after i wake up on the nights i feed.

Other reasons for this practice include the ability to help in magick. The higher spells require more energy than Yyou might have, or will work better with more energy then Yyou could give it, alone. If Yyou are taking the energy and redirecting it Yyourself, Yyou have control over where it goes and are not relying on the concentration and abilities of the Oother. Also, it brings Yyou and the Oone Yyou are with closer and makes the bound even stronger than it might have been before. When practiced correctly, it is highly likely that Yyou and the Oone Yyou have chosen can feel each Oother and what Oone Aanother is feeling at any time. But do be careful, if the Dominant or Alpha takes too much, it is very possible to receive part of that Pperson's soul. i know this to be true for i carry inside of me, part of my One's soul, at Her direction and insistence. The feeling of feeding from Oone or the Oone feeding from Yyou is indescribable. Yyou will have to experience it for Yyourself, if Yyou are in possession of the faculties to comprehend the meaning of my words...if Yyou are blessed with the love of a Vvampyre.

There are many reasons why Oone would want to engage in these practices. It does really shine magickly, though. The ability to be able to use Ssomeone else's energy to help Yyou do what ever Yyou cannot do on Yyour own or need more energy to perform said spell better, Vvampyrism is one of the better ways to retrieve such energies quickly. i have done this myself. i was the one being fed from to help my One to help a Friend of Oours. So, in case Yyou are wondering, it is truth.

With Oour combined energies, Wwe were able to stop Oour Ffriend from doing something completely stupid and outside Her free will. During the time when my One was feeding from me, i could hear Her thoughts and words in my mind. She knew everything that i was doing and when i would get up from the computer. i would hear Her in my mind, telling me to come back and just concentrate.

Since then, Wwe are stronger than ever. Add in the D/s lifestyle in which Wwe live, Oour bond cannot be broken by Aany of Tthose Wwho would give petty lies. She is inside me as i am inside Her. Wwe Bboth feed from each Oother when it is possible, though Nneither of Uus have done it recently due to things beyond Oour realm of control. But...and i cannot stress this enough..Yyou MUST exercise CAUTION when practicing Vvampyrism, regardless of the type!! i, myself, have been practicing vampyrism for some time without knowing it at first. Now i fully admit to being a psi Vvampyre. For now, it is the only way i can feed. In time though, i will become a sanguinary vampyre as well as a psi vampyre.

By now i am sure Yyou are asking, Wwho are you to have such knowledge of this subject?

Is my being a Vvampyre not enough that Yyou must ask Wwho i am? Well then, i am "THE" vampyre prince. i have studied Vvampyre and Vvampyrism. i do not claim to know everything about Vvampyrism, but what i know, i know from experience and study.
