Okay, I've got my tools, my books, my incense and candles...I've
harvested all the right herbs/ingredients at all the right times,
I've done a little spellwork and I know the basics by heart so that
I don't have to take books into ritual/circle with me.
A spell is your prayer to the Powers That Be for whatever it is you need. No one should do this for you, as no one knows and feels your need like you do.
It is time to write your own spells, use your own judgement and start building your own base of spells you've written yourself and have proven themselves successful. Make your own soaps, oils and add a lot of yourself to your workings. Make a quilt by hand not machine, bestowed with your magick for protection and sweet dreams.
Charge the herbs you use in the kitchen and create menus based around your current area of working. Take up a creative hobby, make your own God/Goddess altar figurines, plant that herb garden or start one inside if you don't have a yard.
Pagan celebration days are the much the same, as the words spoken there are words of thanks and praise, love, honor and respect you would show your deities. No one should do this for you, either, as it should be your words and feelings, not those of another.
Also, now is the time to further investigate other pantheons. Understand
and practice other paths to broaden your magickal scope and
abilities. One cannot defend against what one does not understand.
Also, you do not want to limit yourself to only one style of magick when
there are literally thousands out there to choose from. This is
generally not considered to be any sort of "betrayal" of your chosen
PATH/
PANTHEON, but more of a learning experience.
