As with Word Magick, there are also hand gestures which, by the very fluidity of their movement, by the direction faced and used within the gestures, can stir the forces within our worlds.

The hand you use most often is your "Power Hand," while the less dominant hand is your "Receiving Hand." Where jewelry is concerned, gold should be worn on the receiving hand, while silver should be worn on the power hand. I have yet to uncover the reasoning behind this axiom, but I have found that it does work much better at improving the natural "flow" of incoming and outgoing energies within Me to abide by it.

When pulling something into yourself, or out of another such as in Magickal Healing, you should use your receiving hand. To send it out of yourself, as in after you've pulled sickness from another and do not wish to have it within yourself...use your power hand and send it out into the cosmos to be consumed.

When charging, bring the energies in through your receiving hand and hold them within yourself until you are ready to send them out in the form of your spell or rite. Do so by pointing with the index finger of your power hand and directing the energy wherever you need it to go, UP is always good, when sending out a spell to the Gods/Goddesses you've chosen,

In creation, simply draw in the cosmic energies through your receiving hand, focus them within yourself and send them into the cupped power hand before directing them back out into the cosmos.

Using two closed fists, with the fingers facing you, is an effective STOP for incoming energies, or if you send OUT with that maneuver, it can halt fighting. It's not immediate, but it works fast enough.

For centuries, the two index fingers crossed have been used to ward off evil/dark magick, as the sign of the crucifix (the catholic crossing of one's self) has been used against the evil eye and other imagined maladies.

I'm sure you can think of many other examples of simple hand magick and see for yourself how to incorporate them into your workings.
