In My opinion, Magick of the mind is the most powerful,
satisfying and effective form of magick, next to high magick.
Not too long ago, I was in a position that I physically could not practice Magick. I could not get to My tools, I had NO place in which to set up even
a temporary altar, and I had no support whatsoever in these endeavors. It was Samhain and
I NEEDED to do ritual. There were several spells I needed to cast for the upcoming year which could only be done on that night.
I was frantic until I hit on the idea of using My mind to do it all.
If the energies raised are envisioned mentally, and the effects are manifest on this plane in a real way, why not the tools, the altar, everything?
In desperation, I took the time to meditate, to clear Myself and set about the mental task of erecting My altar, decorating it appropriately,
setting out the things I needed and casting My circle. I did the whole celebratory rite and all four
spells solely in My head and heart.
What was the outcome?
I'm happy now, for the first time in My life. I've found the man of My dreams who suits every need and desire I've ever embraced, and is the avatar of
love and light. The perfect counterbalance to the shadows in which I dwell. While I'm not a creature of Darkness, I do still shy away from the Light.
The seeds I planted that Samhain night were seeds of change, growth and awakening, and I fully enjoy reaping their bounty, even when it cuts My hands. *s*
