    1. Confidentiality

      1. We do not hold any of the Ancient Wisdoms to be secret.

We have researched and recognized the reasoning behind the secrecy of other Traditions and Paths. However, while we agree with their reasoning, one thing stands out above the rest...
We do not judge whose hands are "the wrong hands," in which the power of Magick should be held.
Judging others, true, is a function of the High Priestess and Her Elders. We DO determine Who and What enters Our Weyr™, but to assume that we are better than anyone else, would be the most grievous error we could make and we refuse to make it. We are an egalitarian society, and we are determined, charged and motivated to remain that way.

      2. That having been said, let this also be said...

NO Weyr™ business is to be discussed away from the Group. This includes, but is not limited to rites, rituals, elevations, dedications, membership status of the member in question AND other members. In so doing, the member who violates this covenant voids his/her membership and walks away, cutting his/her losses. DragonFyre Weyr™ will; however, assist the former member in finding another group, where applicable.

      3. All members are required to take an oath and sign a covenant with the DragonFyre Weyr™ swearing to maintain confidentiality in regards to the members and our business.

      4. We refuse to disclose who our members are without their express permission. This is not just simple courtesy; there exists many cases in our so-called enlightened times of Magick Uusers who have been discriminated against in the courts and other public institutions and even threatened with violence. Magick Uusers may choose to "go public" if Tthey wish, but Wwe will not make that choice for Tthem.

      5. We do not discuss what happens at initiation and elevation rituals to those who have not undergone them for a very practical reason. An initiation ceremony, regardless of the Tradition or Path, works best when it comes as a surprise to the Pperson being initiated. To do otherwise would prevent the emotional, non-intellectual response which is absolutely necessary for a true initiation.

      6. The Weyr™'s rituals and workings often are, and should be, intensely emotional and personal experiences. This cannot happen without a strong feeling of safety and privacy which would be impossible without rules making these activities private.

      7. We do not discuss private rites/rituals performed, such as the Grace of a child or a handfasting, handparting, dedication or blessing; as to do so would violate the Pparents', the children's, the home or business owners' rights to privacy. Tthose who are desired to have knowledge of such events, will be invited by the member(s) involved.

    2. Resolution Key

      1. ALL problems, personality conflicts, disagreements and disputes are to be brought to the immediate attention of the High Priestess.

      2. If the dispute cannot be settled by the High Priestess alone, the Eelders will be required to settle it.

      3. If anyone has a problem or conflict directly with the High Priestess, the issue should be taken to the Assistant High Priestess.

    3. Attendance Requirements

      1. All the major celebrations require attendance

      2. All Full Moon rituals require attendance

      3. Dues are required every Six Weeks.

      4. Unless prior arrangements have been made, any Weyrling™ who misses one ritual/payment of membership dues, will be placed on probationary status.

      5. Any member who misses twice will be placed on a six (6)-month sabbatical from all Weyr™ activity; membership dues are still expected during this time.

      6. After six months, said member's position, status and membership with the Weyr™ will be reviewed with the Mmember present, by the High Priestess and the Eelders.

    4. Bloodshed

Blood is the living essence of ourselves. There IS no stronger substance in the universe for ANY spell which calls for hair, or nail clippings, etc. Blood carries with it the essence of Spirit and should never be spilled frivolously; but instead; with love, desire and intent.

      1. Most Religious Orders of our type, do not allow bloodshed within the circle. However, Wwe feel that blood extraction is permissable and necessary at times.

      2. Blood letting is to remain within reason and to be done by the practitioner to him/herself ONLY.

      3. The Letting of Blood will NEVER be required by ANYONE!

    5. HARM NONE through Magick

      1. Magickal retaliation is permissable in defense, but never against another Weyr™ Mmember.

        1. Shield yourself immediately and begin doing wards to protect yourself.

        2. If a situation, such as one Weyr™ member attacking another, should ever arise, the High Priestess is to be notified IMMEDIATELY!

      2. This decretal includes yourself.

        1. Treat yourself with respect and love.

        2. Treat yourself well. It's no one else's job to do that.

        3. Be TRUE to yourself!

          1. When making decisions which will alter your life, do not make supreme sacrifices in vain.

          2. Make SURE the decisions you make are for you and not others.

          3. If you don't follow this decretal, you'll only end up resenting others for choices you, yourself, have made.

    6. The Use of Magick

      1. Magick is NEVER to be worked for pay.

        1. In pagan to pagan exchanges, barter is the only means by which payment may be made

        2. When dealing with those outside the Pagan Community, cash money is never to exchange hands.

          1. Magick may be executed in exchange for barter, merchandise, or favors.

          2. Money may not be paid,; even in the form of donations, paying a bill on the practitioner's behalf, and so on.

      2. Magick is never to be used as an ego boost.

        1. "Because I can" is NOT EVER the reason to execute ANY spell, rite or ritual.

        2. The Energies of Mother Earth are NOT to be wasted. EVER.

      3. "Power Drain" IS allowed to prevent or restrain Oothers from causing harm.

        1. This type of action requires the consultation/notification of the High Priestess, time permitting. Wwe realize there are exceptions to every rule, for that is what proves the rule; however, this should NOT be one of those exceptions.

        2. Binding Another, psychically, is an extreme step and should be taken quite seriously.

    7. Conduct

As a member of DragonFyre Weyr™ and a practitioner of the Ancient Mysteries, your mode of conduct is to be such as to NEVER bring disgrace, untoward public awareness, or public humiliation to the Weyr™. This is NOT NEGOTIABLE and ANY infraction of this mandate can result in the summary dismissal of any member who has committed the trespass.

      1. Never threaten others through the use of Magick.

        1. Threatening to use your abilities against others is not to be tolerated.

        2. It reaffirms in the non-believers' minds that Magick is Dark or Light, Good or Evil.

        3. It also reaffirms that Magick Users, ALL Magick Users, Pagans, and what is considered by the general public to be other non-conformist, socially-unacceptable practices are deemed such for good cause.

      2. No unnatural, refined, or illegal substance is to be consumed before any Weyr™ function. PERIOD. NO EXCEPTIONS! This includes, but is not limited to, Over-The-Counter Medications.

        1. If you are under a doctor's care and MUST take such substances as will alter your perceptions and/or interfere with your concentration and ability to focus, the High Priestess will excuse you from attendance.

        2. If you are suffering from stress, emotional instability, or are on medication for a mental or emotional disorder, you may find yourself excused from Weyr™ functions.

        3. If you find yourself in either of these situations, you need to notify the High Priestess as soon as you know you will be unable to participate in order to avoid suspension.

        4. Repeated instances of either situation may result in a suggested Leave of Absence in order to afford the member time to adjust to their new situation and to develop the skills necessary to deal with that situation.

      3. Gossip about other members of the Weyr™ or members of our Hival Weyr™s is not tolerated.

        .: Put simply; Grow UP!

        1. Gossip does three things.

          1. causes dissention and strife between the members

          2. misdirects the attentions of any and all involved, when gathered together for ritual, celebration, or anything else

          3. shows your inability to keep your mouth still, your immaturity and degrades the trust others may have in you

        2. Trust is paramount to a successful, working Weyr™.

        3. If another displays trust in you by speaking of their personal issues, show yourself to be worthy.

          1. If you cannot be trusted with minor issues like gossip, how can you be trusted with the "secrets" and mysteries of something as important as Magick?

          2. There may be times when your trust is needed to be intact, by the Weyr™, in order to fufill your functions as a member. If you've broken that, then your membership is not only limited, but it will fall into question whether or not you should remain a member.

      4. The wearing of Magickal robes, cloaks or jewelry outside Magickal settings is prohibited.

      5. Obey ALL civil laws of the land.

        1. Money is a power source and is to be reserved as miserly as possible. It should; therefore, not be used on things such as bail or fines for illegal activity.

        2. Weyr™ members are NOT to bring disgrace to the Weyr™. EVER.

    8. All Who Express Interest In Magick WILL Be Taught!!

      .: UNLESS...

Said hopeful begins to abuse his/her power.

As stated before, that state of mind will result in the immediate dis-association of said hopeful, applicant, member and/or elder; regardless of state of membership to the Weyr™!

    9. The Gods and the Goddesses are to be revered above all else.

We do not turn the other cheek. We are NOT the doormats of the World.

We are PAGANS, and PROUD PAGANS, who stand tall and in honor of all the Ancient Magicks of ALL the Worlds.
